1965-1968 With L79 Engine

Unlike the RPO L79 engine option in the 1965, 1967, and 1968 Chevelle and 1966-1968 Chevy II/Nova, the Corvette retained its 350hp rating for all four years. The RPO L79 engine in 1965 Chevelles and 1966 Chevy II/Novas were rated at 350hp but were dropped to 325hp in subsequent years for those two Chevrolet models.

No 1966 Chevelle and no 1965 Chevy II/Nova could be ordered with the RPO L79 engine.
