Ground Up Chevelle Parts

This site last revised on November 15 2011. If you find any broken links please contact me with the page the link is on and a brief description. Thank you!

* Mission Statement - Maintain a repository of Chevelle/El Camino Super Sport Chevelles from 1964 to 1972 along with 1964 to 1972 Malibu Chevelles and correlate documented Super Sport Chevelles with the Fisher Body plate to help prevent fraudulent and misrepresented cars from being resold.

° All detail information on any registered Chevelle/El Camino Super Sport is kept confidential.
° Only owner's name, city/state/zip, partial VIN of car and date submitted will be displayed and no personal information about the owner or vehicle will be revealed unless owner chooses to make the information public.
° Inquiries about any registered vehicle will be emailed to the person making the inquiry and to the listed owner as a 'blind carbon copy'. This ensures a person making any inquiry does not see the registered owner's personal email address but the owner may respond to the inquiry if they wish to do so.

To register your Chevelle/El Camino Super Sport you must provide the following: Your name, address, valid email address, and proof of SS or NON-SS status as provided below.

° For 1964 through 1968 you will be asked to provide the following:
Year, model, clear and readable photo or scan of (1) Fisher Body plate [or complete information in supplied grid], (2) complete VIN, (3) the car itself (prefer 3/4 front view), (4) and if available, build sheet, bill-of-sale, Protect-O-Plate (1965-1968), photo of VIN derivative on engine block (1966-1968), etc. Since 1964 through 1968 Super Sport Chevelles and the 1968 Super Sport El Camino can be identified by the VIN, other documentation proof is not required. However, the registration must still be supported by a body plate for reference.

°  For 1969 through 1972 you will be asked provide the following:
Year, model, clear and readable photo or scan of (1) Fisher Body plate [or complete information in supplied grid], (2) complete VIN, (3) the car itself (prefer 3/4 front view), (4) if 1969 through 1972, positive proof of it being a Super Sport Chevelle such as build sheet/bill-of-sale, Protect-O-Plate, photo of VIN derivative on engine block. Just because it has all the emblems, right size fuel line, correct wheels, etc. it is not considered proper documentation. The VIN on the car must match some other form of proof.

Please note the additional documentation required for 1969 through 1972 models is required since the VIN does not indicate a Super Sport optioned Chevelle/El Camino as it does from 1964 through 1968. Additionally 1969 through 1972 NON-SS optioned cars are welcomed to register. True, NON-SS Chevelle/El Camino cars will be duly noted on that particular year's listings. If you think you have a 1969-1972 SS but cannot verify it, register it and it will be duly noted as 'possible'.
