VIN/Body Plate Alert

From time to time both Fisher Body plates (a.k.a. trim tags, firewall tags, cowl tags, etc.) and VIN plates are offered for sale. While not illegal to sell Fisher Body plates it is illegal to sell VIN plates and these often turn up at popular Internet auction sites. The VINs listed below have been discovered as being for sale. You may want to think twice about purchasing that next Chevelle if the VIN is listed here. Listings are by year and VIN sequence number by plant when available.
