There is no denying it, this car is going to be kind of loud. Being a wagon it will be even louder with that huge rear space to generate and create noise. While I expected and intended it to have a decent exhaust rumble, that doesn't mean I wanted a loud drone inside the car. To that end, I installed sound deadening materials from Sound Deadener Showdown.
I followed the advice of Don, the proprieter of SDS and thus far I'm pleased with the results. To obtain good sound barriers, three different materials are used. Here are a few photos of how and what I've installed.
