Well, it's been a long time in the making this time around but it is finally painted and the final assembly has begun. The car runs (and runs well I might add!) and is mostly complete. What remains is assembling the interior, the trim and to chase down a million electrical bugs. Oh, and to really clean it up well for some future show.
I started at the back for no particular reason and I'm working my way forward. Here are a few shots of the progress so far.
Mid-June 2000:
The rear trim is on, the rear lights are in and I've started in on the interior. The body shop messed up portions of my trunk spatter paint so I'll need to repaint some sections. The newly chromed bumpers are beautiful. ALL of my trim is NOS. I really like the look of the rear mounted antenna. The license plates say it all!
